External auditor
A new Australian foundation. An independent Australian foundation in establishment, using responsible AI to reduce social inequality and lift socio-economic mobility, productivity, healthcare quality and household wealth. It will have an independent-majority board. Its name is shared with shortlisted respondents once they agree to keep it confidential.
First-year financial audits for the foundation's entities, including the Public Ancillary Fund's compliance audit against the Ancillary Fund Guidelines.
Context. The foundation comprises a charity company, a trustee company and a Public Ancillary Fund, plus a separately accounted research fund. Its tax adviser is a different firm, to keep the audit independent.
Why it matters. Independent assurance is a condition of public trust and of the fund's continued tax-deductible status.
