An Australian consumer AI start-up. An Australian start-up building an AI assistant for everyday household shopping, in private beta with real households. Its name is shared with shortlisted respondents once they agree to keep it confidential.
Own the product's production platform, retailer integrations, security and payments flows, and set the standard for an engineering team that works alongside AI agents.
Context. Much routine engineering is done by supervised AI agents. The sensitive areas need a senior engineer: money, checkout, store accounts, security and hosting.
Why it matters. Reliable, secure integrations are what retail partners and investors check before they commit.
What we're looking for
- Senior Python and production systems experience
- Browser automation or third-party integration at scale
- Security and privacy engineering
- Experience reviewing AI-generated code
